Arbor Brewing Company has laid-back vibe

Downtown Plymouth brings the excitement and joy of fine restaurants and entertainment, including small shops and a retro movie theater. One new restaurant moved to town recently, Arbor Brewing Company.
This new restaurant draws the eye of passing individuals on the street with its outdoor seating option and spacious indoor seating arrangements. The restaurant features a completely glass wall which opens up somewhat like a window allowing fresh air to enter the indoor seating area, weather permitting.
With its vintage decorations, the restaurant is well lit with string lights and hanging lights in a yellow tone, while the walls, seating, and floor are made of wood. Arbor Brewing may not appeal to all with this style of decorations, however, it allows the restaurant to have a “laid-back” atmosphere.
With a full-length bar, the Arbor Brewing offers a range of Michigan brewed beers and wines with a slim range of food options, offering about six different appetizers and selected things like flatbread pizzas, sandwiches and your typical fish and chips or burgers and fries.
However, the service was incredible. On a typical weekday lunch hour, you can be immediately seated with a waiter or waitress to take your drink order. The service does not rush you if you are unsure of what to order but once you decide, your order is placed immediately. A colleague and I visited the restaurant recently for a quick lunch, splitting an appetizer and a flatbread pizza. Our appetizer came out approximately 15 minutes after we ordered it and our pizza came out not long after. Both food items were incredible, hot and fresh.
One thing about our appetizer that stood out to the both of us is the cheese that came with our pretzels; I would absolutely recommend it.
Pretzel bites cost $8, nachos $11, burgers $11, and flatbread pizzas $13.
An added bonus to the great food is that the whole restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms.
My colleague Haley Overholtz praised the service.
“I though the wait staff was super attentive. He never let our drinks run out and the restaurant was squeaky clean. The pizza was amazing and their to-go boxes are aesthetically pleasing. Their logo was very appealing and I’ll never forget what it looks like.”
All together I would rate this restaurant an eight out of 10. The only reason this restaurant is not a 10 is due to its small menu and the outdoor seating is on a slant due to the angle of the sidewalk which made the table slightly wobbly.
